  1. While I haven't used SES for an IPS Community before, I've used it for other projects in the past. I thought it was very easy to integrate with, and it's been super reliable so far. I've been considering looking into how difficult it would be to get it working in IPS
  2. Version 1.0.0

This is a simple plugin that adds an additional layer of security to the email change process, making it more difficult for an account to be hijacked. Before the user can change their email address, an email is sent to their current email address, with a link they must click. This ensures that only the real account owner can change the email. After clicking the link, the member can proceed with the email change process as normal.
  3. Hi, I have a question about this 4.4 developer change: I assumed this would allow third-party developers to store files for custom share services, payment gateways, license keys, etc. within their own application directory, and not require the user to upload them into specific locations anymore. Which would be a very welcome change 🙂 However, this doesn't actually work. The code still loads all these classes from hard-coded directories. For example, Commerce loads gateways with: $classname = 'IPS\nexus\Gateway\\' . $data['m_gateway']; Meaning that in practice, we still need to upload our custom gateways to /applications/nexus/sources/Gateway/ folder for it to work. I'm just wondering if this was the intended way of it working? Thanks
  4. I'm developing an application that heavily relies on manipulating tables on remote databases. ActiveRecord is compatible with this no problem, because of its db() function. But Nodes, not so much \IPS\Node\Model and \IPS\Node\Controller would be a lot more compatible with situations like this if they called the ActiveRecord::db() function for queries, instead of \IPS\Db::i()
  5. Hi all, I will be releasing 2.1.3 shortly to address the issues you have posted above. The website it is trying to call to for update checks is no longer active, which is the reason it's happening.
  6. I've upgraded to the most recent version but have run into an issue. On the apply page, all the question titles show correctly, but no fields to enter any information. On applications that are already submitted, titles show, but their answers do not. This happens on both the front end and the ACP, so template issue is unlikely.
  7. It may simply be ordering them by the post ID. I have not checked that but it'd be my best guess.
  8. [Bug report] Re-answering an invalidated application. Page title and user navigation is "editing_application".
  9. The author needs to change or remove class names that would conflict. In the meantime, a temporary fix (that doesn't appear to affect the application) is: ACP -> Look & Feel -> Your skin -> CSS -> groupjoin.css Find: .author, .ipsComment_reply_user { Change to: .ipsComment_reply_user { Save.
  10. That's caused by the CSS file in the app. It's conflicting with the IPB classes in some places. The one you pointed out is the ".author" class
  11. I would also appreciate a copy of the user image to create our own versions :)
  12. Purchased - awaiting 3.3 update :)
  13. Agreed. Our Nexus install is tied to gameservers with a lot of custom code and it wouldn't be where it is now if not for his help over the months :)
  14. I think this was meant to be fixed in a recent IPB release. It happens when there is no skin with key "default". Go into the settings of the IPB default skin (or your main skin if the IPB one is deleted). Make sure the skin key is "default". Then re-install the app
  15. I have tested it in 3.3 and see no issues. There was no major changes in code or skin in 3.3 so it should work perfectly. If anyone does find a bug, post here or PM it to me :)
