  1. Making it the default app is not what I asked you to do. You need to mark the module in Member Map default.
  2. The default key works on all sites, regardless of URL. I do however encourage all users to get their own key. I think I know what's going on. No default module has been set. Go to ACP -> Applications, click on the "Member Map" row to make it expand the module(s), then click the star next to the row that should appear to make it the default one. If that doesn't work, I may need ACP, and maybe FTP, access to figure this out for you.
  3. The map will only appear in the users profile once they've added their location to the map. There are no widgets for this app yet, so nothing will appear in the page designer. Send me your URL, and I'll look at the EX02 error. Should be as simple as clicking on the map to drop a marker pin. Once that's dropped you can fine tune the location by dragging it around.
  4. Misread your first post. Thought you meant the "Members" phrase, which do change. Custom marker group titles are currently not translatable, but they will be in the next version. Mod approval will be added. It'll behave just like any other content, except for a couple of things.
  5. Browser cache. Delete it after you switch language. I have no intentions to keep two versions of the same app up to date. Why should we spend hours adding features that don't benefit all our users? Do keep in mind that this is sort of a "Community Project". Those who want to can contribute. And if we did do a "Pro" version, how do you suggest we split the income? Just post your suggestions here, here, or here. I wont comment on the Russian language pack "case". Now onto something exciting, I'm currently working on moving custom marker management from the ACP to the public side. Regular members will be able to add them, if they have permission. One question from me to you regarding that. Is there a need to be able to comment/review these custom markers? Please explain why. And it's ready When It's Ready™.
  6. That's an easy one. Will add that in the next version The one in the member group settings, right? Forgot that one when I fixed the one in custom marker groups.
  7. Both will be fixed by the release that's due in a short time.
  8. In a few hours. Last bugfix was commited now, just waiting for @stoo2000 to release it.
  9. That's a known bug. Fix will be released soon.
  10. Would it enough for you if I change Marker Description to be a proper editor, instead of just a text field?
  11. If you only want this feature for a certain group, and it's a trusted group, you could consider giving them restricted ACP access to only manage Custom markers. I'm adding the needed restrictions to do that as we speak. Adding it as a public option won't be added anytime soon. Already coming in 3.0.1 What kind of stats? Not for 3.0.1, but probably in 3.0.2 In the description, or the marker icon?
  12. Nope, it'll be in 3.0.1, which isn't far away.
  13. I changed them both to HTTPS, which would make it run fine on both protocols. Although the HTTPS version might be slightly slower. So "//" may be the better option.
  14. It's showing you that because the table definition on your server is different to what's defined by the app. The "UPDATE" query is generated to prevent issues with NULL values, as this column doesn't allow a value to be NULL.
  15. I can probably do that. With that being the only setting, just need to find a way to present it.
  16. What do you guys think of this as a way to control the various maps used in the app?
  17. Do you see any errors in the Console (If you know to see them)?
  18. That's a known issue, Kjell Iver. Next version will fix that
  19. If you type something in the location field, does it show an autocomplete search list like Google? Let me know your OS and browser versions, and I'll look into it. Thanks to the clustering, 10.000 members on the map shouldn't be a problem. Have a look at this app, which is pretty much the same in the backend, that have 2600 markers on the map. Or even this 50.000 example, provided by the developers of the cluster plugin.
  20. 1. That too is on the list. However, I don't think they'll be in the same marker cluster as members, so custom markers will no longer be clustered. 2. The color will update once the server cache is rewritten (doable from the Admin Tools menu, or every time a marker is added/edited/deleted). As in "The menu doesn't show" or "the popup doesn't show"?
  21. Adding all existing members based on the location field will cause a significant increase of API calls to the location service in use. To do this you would either have to sign up for your own API keys, which I wanted to avoid for ease of use, or find a service which allows more or unlimited calls per month. A notification widget is planned, both to have members verify their location and to add on if they haven't already. This has not been done yet as I'm still not sure how to present it to the users. That can be done.
  22. There is no drag&drop feature. If you want to edit your location, you do it from the "My Location" menu, or right click on the map where you want your new location to be and select "Edit Location". Yes, you can alter this by editing the member group in the ACP.
