  1. Hello Adlago, hi all, thank you all for trying to help and assisting me solving the issue. Your advise, Adlago, might be a solution but unfortunately the process step ends here: http://www.my-forum-url.com/community/admin/index.php?adsess={ session key } Then the error/ debug message appears....
  2. Hi all, I'm running an old version of IPB and would like to upgrade it (I know its long time overdue) Unfortunately the system blocks me while I'm trying to login to the admin area. Can someone give me a hint how I could bypass the Admin area and/or to get back control over the system. Any kind of assistance would be highly appreciated Best E11
  3. Hi Jim, thanks for the response and sry for the late reply. Just to add and clarify - we dont need technical support,we have developers who could take care of that topic. The only issue is that we dont know if its possible at all to achieve what we have in mind - means, if Invision Power Boards SSO / API is powerful enough to get a bidirectional process to connect IPB with a PHP based platform. Maybe someone who had to deal which such a challenge in the past can share some insights with us. Best
  4. Hello Support Community, We are in progress building a bridge between a custom PHP based marketplace and IPB. Our approach is to develop some kind of SSO, where a registred user on the marketplace get a functioality to create from there an account on the Invsion forum. Here comes the questions in terms of a achieving a possible solution: 1. Where are the passwords of members stored in the DB? 2. Wat is the proper process to validate the password with plaintext? Firthermore, we want to create a link from marketplace to guide registered users to the forum, smth like “go to community site”. From a restricted area (only possible for registered and logged-in users) it should be possible to create a link that will redirect to the IPB site and auto-login that particular user in Invision. Question here: How can we achiev this kind of SSO-styled process? Finally our goal would be that the platform acts as Master in terms of User Management and IPB as slave. Best case would be to have a "Joint registration" process flow. Thanks for any assistance in advance E11
  5. Hello IPS Style artists, I would like to apply a custom developed skin to the IPB I'm using currently with a plain vanilla theme. For this job I'd need support of a skilled webdeveloper who is able to work with an already existing stylesheet and a spec with the goal to implement it into the forum skin management. You can either reply here or PM me if you are interested in to know more about the task. I'd appreciate if an applicant can share a few reference projects regarding the implementation of custom skins. Tia E11
  6. Hello Developers, not sure if this is the right place to address that query but I'm seeking for a skilled IPS developer who want to earn some money. Primary goal would be to make a number of propriatary developed IPS3 hocks IPS4 ready. Furthermore I plan to develop certain new custom moduls. If you are interested in please send me a PM and add a few background information about you, your skillset, IPS-projects your already worked on and what's your hourly rate is. Tia E11

    Member Map

I have just a small issue to report. When ppl open the Member Map and hover the map with the mouse it initiate an auto-scroll effect. According to feedback of my members they feel this behaviour a bit annoying. Is there any opportunity that the mentioned effect is disabled by default? The regular behaviour would be that ppl use the arrow up/ down approach to enlarge the map. Thanks in advance E11
