@onlyME is there a way to not crop the thumbnail? I would like it to keep the original ratio of the image so the thumb should set one side to 60px (whichever is larger) so aspect ratio remains the same.

Thanks for the guide. I used it and had one issue. For this part of the /etc/nginx/nginx.conf

gzip_types text/plain text/css application/json application/x-javascript text/xml application/xml application/xml+rss text/javascript;

you need to add

application/javascript

as well. Otherwise some of the JS elements in IPB wont compress (and google pagespeed analyzer will complain).
