Update to v5

Hello guys, very noob question, and very late of me to ask this, however, when I download V5 (including dev) and copy all the file to my latest v4 IPB, and I cant access the ACP anymore, it says error 500.

Any docs or link to point me out how do I test this v5 with our current setup (including data) ?

Did you run the upgrade script on /admin/upgrade

Do this on a test environment please... 🙂

My guess is you have to upgrade first to 5 before uploading the dev tools.

is there a proper doc on best practice to upgrade to v5? Just curious

The doc I provided you in your other topic is the only doc available for upgrades, and the manual process is the same.
