If you notice Pages article comments have vanished, do one of two things:

Edit each database and under display add a value for comments per page.

Wait until after 3pm GMT and apply the patch. 😇

Upgraded from 6 to 7, this time with PHP 8.2.26. No problem. Should we test 8.3 next time again?

That bug is still open. Had a meeting with Esther yesterday to run through the last of the bugs and we should get this one done for the next beta.

I've been working all day waiting for the moment to get home and update my community.

Everything is fine here. THANK YOU to everyone involved. The version is getting better and better.

Its quite irresponsible to use a beta version on a production server.

Let's say yes, but I have at least enough knowledge to get by on my own.
So from the first beta until now in live mode I haven't had any critical problems.

If it was directed at me, yes, my content is more than minimal.
I work with games and in this area, managing to retain players in community services is not an easy task.

Another very important aspect. (I am in a testing period and I will probably only officially open my server in February or March of next year)
Nothing is being done irresponsibly, unlike many projects I see online.
That is exactly why I would like to have the topics signed; they would help me with this task.
But rest assured, my community will be as big as any other here, after all, no one here started their projects with thousands of hits, users and a large volume of data, right?
Everything is a process.

Will the final version be released on Christmas day?

Safe to assume that won't happen. The bug tracker still contains some items that need addressing, not to mention the downtime over the Christmas and New Year period. I would aim for a Q1 2025 release at the very earliest.
