Private records with Pages

Please provide a switch in Pages to enable Private records (which only the author + admins can view).

This will limit users to see their own bugs in databases like incidents, grievances, claims, etc. where users should be able to see only their own records.

(similar to Forum setting switch “Users can see questions asked by other users?”)

Found the setting under Articles > Database Settings > Users can see records posted by other users?

Unless categories are used. If they are, then this becomes a setting per category

We don't use categories but the setting is available ("Users can see records posted by other users?"). Does it mean it works as expected for private records if we turn off the switch? Planning to use it on a new pages database.

If not, please consider this as a suggestion

Sorry, I think you misunderstood what I was saying there. It being present is because you are not using categories. That is correct. If you started using categories, that setting would disappear, and instead be available per category.
