Sometimes when I have submitted a reply to a topic, then come back to the same topic to enter another reply, the text editor shows me the text I've already submitted?

Could contain: Page, Text, File, Webpage

This happened while no extensions where enabled in Chrome.

It's definitely not a huge deal, more like a minor annoyance.

I wonder if this could be related to having the same page opened in two different tabs. I'll try to avoid that and see if that minimizes the issue.

I wouldn't have thought so, but if you do see any correlation, of course please let us know.

Right now what I'm able to reproduce is:

  1. Open a page in a tab (tab #1), start typing an answer but don't submit.
  2. Open the same page in another tab (tab #2).
  3. In tab #1 submit the answer.
  4. In tab #2, click the reply box, you see the answer that was already submitted.

Obviously that's an edge case that doesn't make much sense in day to day use, but I'm suspecting that this is the kind of thing that may happen when I have a tab where I've started to reply, then I get a notification, click the notification and that opens a new tab with that same page...

Tab 2 there would have already loaded the partial response that has not been submitted, which I feel is where the issue is here. At the time you open that tab, its actually correct.

Yes I suspect that's what is happening.
