JKHub Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 (edited) This has been plaguing us for a few months now. Nothing has changed on the hosting side, uploads used to be error free. Limits are where they should be. The problem is it pops up with a -200 error when uploading, but only sometimes. I have noticed that if you just try over and over it will eventually upload just fine, but sometimes it takes 5-20 times to go through. I have a video showing it. This happens anywhere uploads are available: posts, promotions, Downloads files area, etc. All have the issue. https://streamable.com/renydj Any ideas what is causing this? We are on the most recent version. We are on an OVH VPS with overkill specs, so I doubt it would be a resource issue. The limits seem to be fine since it does actually get through eventually. Edited September 19, 2023 by JKHub clarify it happens everywhere
Marc Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 -200 is an error returned from plupload on upload to the server, and is a server side error. You would need to check your server error logs to see what the actual error is there

Is there a specific log I can look for?
Marc Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Usually the PHP error log is where it would be found

Upon further inspection it appears to only happen in Firefox on macOS. I tried Safari, Chrome, and a couple other Chromium browsers and none seem to have the issue. Even Firefox on Windows was fine. Very strange. I'm curious if anyone else can test that to see if it's just me? This seems to be effecting sites outside of Invision too from the looks of it, so I will take it to the Firefox bug report.
Marc Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Switch off any plugins you are using on firefox first of all, to see if one of those is causing you issues.
