Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
2TonWaffle Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 I hadn't realized that when going through the install process I was on the non-secured side (HTTP). So now the key is set to that and I would need it to be assigned to the HTTPS. Is there a way to do this without spending the $15 for a key change?
Jim M Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Ensure your community is running over HTTPS and then just go to ACP -> System -> License Key -> re-add your license key. That should update it to HTTPS.
2TonWaffle Posted September 11, 2023 Author Posted September 11, 2023 Tried this method but it is still showing as HTTP within the admin cp and within the client area.
Solution Jim M Posted September 11, 2023 Solution Posted September 11, 2023 This is due to your community is not running over HTTPS, please see this guide: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/configuration-options/using-ssl-https-r273/ 2TonWaffle 1
2TonWaffle Posted September 11, 2023 Author Posted September 11, 2023 Solved it, thank you. Was showing http in the base url and changing it to https solved the problem.
Jim M Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Glad to hear that has resolved your issue 🙂
