Issues with user ranks being randomly reset for some users

Hi,

We are having a reoccurring issue with user ranks being randomly reset for users. We have to manually go in and update their points in order to fix this and it's happening frequently. I know that we are able to rebuild user ranks, but this loses data for badges that were earned during a temporary login window rule and doesn't fix the actual problem.
