I get this error, when I am adding a widget to the page on one of my clients's website.

[[Template valastory/front/widgets/rowStory is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

Is the problem with my widget or should it be fixed by the IPS?

The error seems to be coming from the rowStory template, which I assume is your widget's template. Can you post it here?

There doesn't seem to be anything wrong in the template itself at a first look. Maybe it's the template variables.

Click on the Variables... button and post here the textarea content.
