It would be nice if you could integrate a system that can pay users based on the posts they write in the forum.
In 2022 the forums are hardly used and perhaps paying users for a period could help restart many forums ...

Thanks

It's not the post count that matters but how engaged the membership is with the content posted.  If members drop by and contribute meaningful content, then those individuals should receive some form of positive reinforcement.  You might consider looking at Members Shop and its addons.  You might be able to craft some sort of incentive program to drive meaningful engagement.

Some people like bright and shiny things such as awards or other visual recognition for their contributions and some might be motivated to become more engaged via accruing points that can be redeemed for something of meaningful value.

You might consider working with a couple of sponsors who offer up some kind of product or service that you can dangle as a carrot to your membership.  This is a good way for some companies to reasonably advertise their products.

Of course, you could use the built-in Achievements system and implement some very specific reactions for members to gauge the value of each posting. Members achieving various Achievement milestones would be awarded in some fashion by the admin team.  This would be a very manual process for the admins as they would have to keep up with who had reached what milestone and what incentive to award but it wouldn't cost any additional money to implement like the Members Shop would.

IPS has some tutorials here:

 https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/

There are a number of IPS authored blog posts around community engagement as well as numerous forum postings by IPS or customers. If you choose to explore the Members Shop route, there are support forums for each product you can read through and ask questions.

Help will sometimes be offered in the forums for this or that question you may have, but ultimately it will fall upon you to figure out how all of the pieces fit together to serve your needs.  I've simply offered up "some" possibilities that you might explore.
