Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
2ntow Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 In the past few weeks something has changed and is impacting my ability to access the Admin control panel. After entering my login information, it is going to a screen saying The information you’re about to submit is not secure. Because this form is being submitted using a connection that’s not secure, your information will be visible to others. When I click on the Send Anyway box, it goes back to the Admin login screen. The site has never been an https site and access up to a few weeks ago to the control panel was not an issue. Do I need to upgrade to https to correct this or is there a work around?
Solution Marc Posted June 21, 2022 Solution Posted June 21, 2022 You have switched to https using the server, but not actually changed the software to use it. You need to follow the instructions in the following location https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/configuration-options/using-ssl-https-r273/ SeNioR- 1
