Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Bannerx Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 I was wondering if there is a way to allow someone to post in a forum but not read other members posts? I want to post applications to a forum but not allow them to read other peoples apps only there own.
Mark H Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 Yes, that's a per-forum setting. Edit the forum in question and find: Disable that setting, and save. Visitors to that forum (assuming they aren't staff) will then only see their own topics.

I have looked under forums permissions and its just a chart of view, read, reply stuff like that but I don't see any other options.
Mark H Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 I suspect you opened the Permissions matrix rather than edit the forum? On the Forums list in the ACP, click the "pencil" icon to the right of the forum you want to edit. that should open up a large page of settings with sub-tabs and sub-sections.
