I have a product in the store which has a renewal, used as a subscription.

If I delete a payment method from that product, and add a new payment method. What will happen to existing members on this subscription? Will their payment fail as their previously selected payment option is no longer an option?

Or will they be able to remain on that payment method, even though it has been removed from the product?
