Gallery: Store all images under the same parent directory

There is one setting to specify the file location of the Gallery Images under Files >> Storage Settings, however it appears that Gallery Categories and Gallery Category Albums are stored in different parent folders.

Example:

Files >> Storage Settings >> Gallery Images:  /uploads

Category images are stored under: /uploads/monthly_{yyyy}_{mm}

Category Album images are stored under /uploads/gallery/album_{index}

It would be beneficial to have this be consistent such that all gallery images are under one parent folder.

Any sort of feature update for gallery would be welcome at this point. It seems to be the most neglected of all the apps.
