henryguiceo Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I accidentally deleted the file section from my download category, How can I restore all the files I uploaded, by accident I just deleted the file I created a new one but now my download file section is empty!
Hatsu Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Restore the latest backup. If you don't know how to do this contact your host. If they're physically deleted, they're gone. You have to rely on a backup.
teraßyte Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 No, you can't restore backups from the ACP or the attachments page in your screenshot. You need to contact your hosting about it. Looking at your screenshot you're hosted by IPS though, so they should already have all the info they need (as long as a backup before it happened is available).
teraßyte Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 This is their forum so they'll probably get in contact with you through a ticket about it once they see the replies to this topic. That said it's a weekend so you probably won't hear from them until Monday... 🙄
Randy Calvert Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 In addition, if a backup can be restored it will mean you lose everything done since that backup. Meaning any activity done since that backup point will be gone. DawPi 1
teraßyte Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Indeed. I meant to mention it but forgot. It would probably be a good idea to put the board offline temporarily so you don't lose any content posted until the backup is restored.
Jim M Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 Please be advised we have replied to your ticket with next steps. Anyone on our platform in the future who needs a restore, all you need to do is submit a ticket and we will assist you further.

Marc Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 3 hours ago, henryguiceo said: how do I submit a ticket, I contact the technical support and nobody is replying Please note that, as mentioned, responses are reduced over a weekend period. In addition, restoring of backups can take some time to process. Someone will be in contact as soon as possible.
henryguiceo Posted May 10, 2022 Author Posted May 10, 2022 now is already Monday night, I send email and nobody replied, remember the working hours is 9-5pm; but I am still being ignored, disappointed😐 I will not ask for more; just want to restore my system, but yet nobody is giving me any update..... 21 hours ago, Marc Stridgen said: Please note that, as mentioned, responses are reduced over a weekend period. Marc Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I'm a little confused by your response there, as I responded only a few minutes after the response above, and did let you know that this will take a few days to process. We are unable to give more of an update than that at this point. I realise that is not what you were expecting, but to say there has been no update and you are being ignored is incorrect there.

Hey there! I I know how important your community being online and functioning is. I see Marc mentioned your item is in our management queue for processing which may take a few days. Is there anything I can help you with in the mean time?
henryguiceo Posted May 11, 2022 Author Posted May 11, 2022 For the restore, can I get my files to restore to the latest version? I mean the latest time the files exist before the file was deleted, so everything will be the latest file, thanks! Jordan Miller 1
Marc Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Our management team will go through that with you. Note you will lose anything that is done after the restore of course. Jordan Miller 1
