Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
sofos Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Hi all! For a few days now, some (few) users have had the problem that the images taken with their smartphone are loaded rotated from the forum. I know that is likely to be on the users end and not our end, but what can you recommend to them? Thank you!
Dean_ Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Similar issue here with some fixes. sofos and SeNioR- 1 1
Marc Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 We are aware of some issues with rotation at present, and we are working on a resolution to the issue. The issue actually seems to be with a new version of iOS

Randy Calvert Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Matt says this is fixed in the next release.
sofos Posted March 28, 2022 Author Posted March 28, 2022 @Randy Calvert my problem is on Android (maybe the title should be changed)
Marc Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 I would suggest awaiting the changes made before you report any further, as it may well be related sofos 1
Alan Knight Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Is there release date for this update or fix?
Randy Calvert Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 The beta is available now. IPS does not give exact dates and instead just notes when it’s ready. But I would imagine within a few weeks based on past releases. Marc 1

Stuart Silvester Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Just now, Alan Knight said: How can we download the beta? Go to https://invisioncommunity.com/clientarea/ click into your license and then click download beta in the top right. If you can wait a few days, the final release should be available soon.

Jim M Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 9 minutes ago, Alan Knight said: Thank you but the option is not there for me. Software downloads are only available for self-hosted clients. As you are on cloud, we would need to handle any beta changes for you via a ticket. I can move this to a ticket, if you would like? Please be aware that beta software can have errors/issues which are not immediately resolved. Only asking for a beta if you understand this and can go a few days with errors/issues present.
