Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Writerguysd Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 (edited) In the past, a file name was always associated with a downloadable file such as audio.mp3. Now, there's no file name, just a download button and speed control. How do I get the name of the files to show up? Edited March 23, 2022 by Writerguysd
Solution Jim M Posted March 23, 2022 Solution Posted March 23, 2022 When an MP3 file is uploaded, we would provide the MP3 player to play the audio in the browser. What is displayed is your browser's audio player there.
Writerguysd Posted March 23, 2022 Author Posted March 23, 2022 The audio play is there. It's the name of the file that is missing now. Before it used to have the names, audio1.mp3, audio2.mp3, etc. For example, here's what it looked like in 2019. And the second is today.
Jim M Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Correct. Only the audio player would show currently.
Writerguysd Posted March 23, 2022 Author Posted March 23, 2022 Is there no way to get the name tags back?

I would suggest typing them in then inserting the player beneath it to accomplish this at the moment. There would be no method in the core software at this time.
