Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Shel Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 I have a Calendar set up for public events, with permissions set to allow guests to See Calendar and View Events. However, whenever someone visits the calendar URL, they are redirected to log in. This is a freshly updated system with a newly created calendar. The system has the WordPress SSO plugin installed, but this happens when it's enabled and also when it's disabled. No other plugins are installed. Any idea why the Calendar guest permissions settings aren't being honored?
Solution Jim M Posted February 9, 2022 Solution Posted February 9, 2022 In order for this permission to work, Guests would need access to your community. Currently, your third party plugin, WordPress SSO plugin is redirecting them away from your community so you will need to work with the author to get that resolved. (Sorry, third party plugins are outside our scope of support) It may be that you also do not allow Guests to view your community in ACP -> Members -> Groups -> edit your guest group -> ensure "Can access site?" is enabled.
