Subscriber status not reverting at end of subscription

I have a concerning issue... 

Our subscribers, who then churn, are not being demoted, and therefore still have full access to the benefits of the site.

As far as i can tell, the system should revert them automatically.

Can you please advise what I need to look into in order to fix this.

Following on from this, I am starting to see these customers kick over to inactive.

Naturally while I dislike churn, I am actually really pleased to see this happen.

So I think I would change my original question to, with the subscriptions system:

  • How many grace days do people get after their subscription expires ?
  • When are subscriptions renewed ? Is it 30 days afterwards, or does it happen at the end of the calendar month?

The answer to these quetsions depends on what you have set up. If you take a look at your settings in Commerce->Subscriptions->Subscription Plans, then click on the settings button in the top right, it will show your grace perious there.

 

The renewal period depends what you set up on that renewal
