Can't save changes in easy mode theme editor

Hello, the save changes button does nothing when you click on it after making changes.

If you click on it before making changes a message pops up saying you haven't made any changes, so it seems as soon as I make changes it stops working.

When you try and save there is a script error - nothing gets saved.

Uncaught TypeError: $(...).attr(...) is undefined

Happens in Edge/chromium and Firefox.

I am currently having this problem on a new install (hosted).  Has anyone figured this out?

Also having this issue. Just spent an hour working on a theme, didn't save, tried it again and still nothing.
