Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
AutoMinded Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 Hi all, Is it possible to create a custom no access error? I have a few forums which are either member only or paid member only but I'd like the "No access" screen to be a little different. Is this possible? Thanks, AM
Solution Kyle F Posted January 20, 2021 Solution Posted January 20, 2021 Or you can utilise the built in feature. Admin CP > Forums (edit forum you want this to show for) and its “custom error” under the main forum settings. Don’t forget to untick the permissions for that forum for the user group of your choice. So in this instance, I disallowed guests to view the forum I chose: Result: DawPi and AutoMinded 1 1
AutoMinded Posted January 20, 2021 Author Posted January 20, 2021 Wow, I was looking under Permissions and not the General Settings. Thank you very much! 🙂
