I used the create on the navbar to make a block on side bar called Announcements now I want to delete it and can not figure out where can anyone help?

Check Moderator CP under Announcements (on the left side)...you should be able to disable or delete.

so your saying the block wont be there if I delete the announcement or disable it so when I create an announcement it automatically makes that block on sidebar. Thanks for the reply I will give it a shot Thanks again.

Correct, the box will hide when there are no announcements.
