Read receipts

No idea how this could be done, but I'm an ideas guy. 😎 

What are peoples' thoughts on creating an option to turn on Read Receipts. 

It would work like this:

1. I post a comment.
2. Someone replies.
3. I see that reply.
4. That member can now see I have "Seen" the reply (whether I replied or not).
5. Or, say I do reply back, but they don't comment, I will see that they have "Seen" my reply.

IPB, what are our thoughts?

There is a plug-in in the Marketplace for Who Viewed the Topic.  It's a more simplistic version of what you're asking for, but you may be able to work with the developer.
