Sending bulk email with elastic email

I use elastic mail for the site emails, so people get notifications through that and can opt out. I've recently just gone through and deleted the contacts with bouncing emails or those who have unsubscribed in elastic email so that the future notifications only go to those who are still active in elastic email.

My question is that I want to send out a bulk email from the IPS ACP, if I select every member, will that get filtered by elastic email to only send to those who are active in elastic email or will it send to everyone regardless of the elastic email settings?

I'm not familiar with Elastic Email.

If you send a bulk mail to everyone on your community, all users with the "Send me updates from the admin" enabled in their notification preferences will be emailed. It's possible your email provider may further limit those emails (i.e. by dropping/ignoring emails to specific addresses) but that's not something we could answer from here.
