How to add thumbnail and author in the rss feeds?

As the title, I want to add to the RSS feeds the author and the thumbnail it's possible?

The "author" information from the RSS standard is supposed to include the author's email address. Naturally this opens up privacy and spam issues, so we won't be including that.

Thumbnails will be possible with 4.5 via the enclosure tag.

By author I meant the username and avatar.

Glad to see that IP.Board was already planning to improve the RSS Feeds

The RSS specification says the "author" field holds the author's email address. Sending anything other than an email address would be against the specifications, and your feed may not be honored by some readers as a result.
