Load subdirectory from root

Hello,

I have issue, that my forum files and registration license key are in "/forumas" directory, how I can make that subdirectory load from root?

For example my forum location is in "https://*.com/forumas", but I wanna open forum when users goes to the root path "https://*.com".

Is there some specific custom index.php and .htaccess files to make that possible or what?

I would recommend actually moving all of the files to the root directory, and then submit a ticket if you need help updating URL associated with your license. This could be theoretically done with .htaccess commands and the like, but it's cleaner to just go ahead and move the files if you can.

I have the same issue with www.duken.nl . Its a redirect to /forums now.

I dont dare to move it to the root because of the links from around the world to /forums and Google ranking. 

Its a action that cant be reversed if Google does not like it 😞
