Migrate download files to AWS

Hi everyone,

if i would want to move all my files (downloads, potentially files from other modules) to AWS, is there a way to kinda migrate that without screwing up the topics / download "objects"?

You could do a 301 redirect of the current folder to a sub domain mapped to an aws edge folder. Fwiw I found azure to be cheaper and better for me overall.

If you add the new file storage configuration in the AdminCP, and then update an area (such as Downloads Files) to use that new configuration, the software will move the files to the new location for you. Note that if you have large files, you may need to (at least temporarily) increase your server limits, such as the PHP memory limit and execution time limits, depending upon various factors (such as whether you use cron to run background tasks, or let web traffic run tasks).
