Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
TheOtherRob Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 On our forums, which we host ourselves, we are running Invision Community v4.3.2 using default Theme 4.2 Today at around 11am gmt what appears to be a "Popular Now" Widget appeared next to all threads (see this thread and this screenshot) We can not find any option in v4.3.2 to configure this widget, and nobody here changed anything as far as we know, it just appeared. Our forums are here https://forum.affinity.serif.com and you already have an admin account called "IPS Temp Admin" How do we turn this unpopular feature off?
Joy Rex Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 There is a tab on the left side of the screen that will appear to Admins that allows you to configure the widgets that appear on the screen.
TheOtherRob Posted September 20, 2019 Author Posted September 20, 2019 sigh, perfect than you, really appreciate it. I wonder who did that...
Joel R Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Access to the Block Manager is a moderator function, so this should allow you to narrow down the list of suspects. You may want to disable the function.
