Allow polls for members only in blogs

I wonder if it is possible to allow creating polls for members in blogs only and not in forum? I would like to have polls in forums only created by moderators. Is it possible?

Nope... it's a group permission.

You can, however, hook in \IPS\forums\Topic::canCreatePoll() and add a condition to allow only moderators to create it there.

I have found a walk-around: 

1. Do not allow to create polls in any forum where members are allowed to create content
2. Create a forum where only moderators can create and view topics and allow polls in this forum.
3. Moderators can create polls in this forum and then move the poll to the appropriate forum after its creation.
4. Allow members to create polls

In this case members can only create polls in blogs. Moderators in forum.
