Have reported content be static?

Hi,

We've noticed that reports work as a "Live Link" of sorts to the reported content. This means that if the user goes back and edits the post that has been reported, the edited version will update and replace that shown in the report itself.

Is there any way to prevent this and have the content remain as it was at the time the report was created?

There is no way at this time (out of the box) to do what you are describing.
