XF to IPS import takes forever

One thing I can't understand and perhaps someone can advise me on...for example my own site it takes roughly 2 hrs to go from IPS to XF including the rebuild of cache's etc but it takes over 12 hrs to go from XF to IPS. I have a pretty good and fast dedicated server

I have tried a cron in cPanel to make it faster but it makes no difference than to manually run the rebuild in IPS.

I am finding the new converter post 4.4.X is slower than the old one for some reason. (vBulletin -> IPB)
