Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
vbnautilus Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 We're experiencing an issue where, after upgrading from 4.3 to 4.4, clicking on a topic always takes you to the first page of the topic, regardless of whether you click on a page number, or on the new posts icon. This happens with a brand new, fresh theme, so it doesn't appear to be the result of any theme customizations. Anyone seen this behavior before or have any ideas what it might be? I tried replacing all the files in /system and /applications with freshly downloaded versions, no luck.
Stuart Silvester Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 We're seeing a few instances of this issue when you use friendly URLs but do not have the 'Rewrite URLs' setting enabled. I would recommend enabling that setting to work around the issue (it's a much cleaner URL than having index.php?/ in it too!).
