Wren Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 Hi, on our registration form I want to be able to add a checkbox to say that members have read and understand that their initial posts will be moderated and that they have read a linked page explaining why - is there a way I can include the link in the description of the profile field? Thanks
Mark H Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 You can accomplish what you describe by enabling the "Always" setting in the Login & Registration settings, the bottom choice in this screenshot: and then in your Terms & Privacy Policy settings page, add that information about moderation to the "Registration Terms & Rules" form (or replace it entirely with the text of your choosing), as below:
Wren Posted January 12, 2019 Author Posted January 12, 2019 Thanks mark 😀 I’ve used the guidelines and terms and conditions already somwas wanting something extra with a link to just the new member info in it and something to say they’ve read it, but it could probably go in the guidelines just as easily
