IP Gallery, Opt in to see NSFW Categories?

Short and sweet of this is, I run a video game magazine website. We use our Gallery to collect cover images of video game magazines from across the world. For magazines in the USA this is not really an issue, but some Japanese gaming magazines have very risky covers with nude anime characters. I am looking for a way to put these categories as an opt in, where maybe each user needs to specify they wish to see these covers. Either as a one time setting, or each time they enter the category, any ideas? Or should I look for someone to code a mod?

If you need a global permission mask, I think the easiest approach is member groups.  

Apply a secondary member group (the NSFW group), and allow permissions to forum boards, gallery categories, and download categories that contain adult content.
