Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
2002faq Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I have a couple hundred users that have been assigned to a secondary group. I would like to remove that group from their accounts. is there a way to get that done which does not involve modifying each individual user? Thanks! Steve K.
Reality Capture Experts Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 did you get an answer? I have a few with the same group for first and secondary group and want to clear secondary group from the users.

PPlanet Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 The other day, I asked the opposite, that was how to add a secondary group to all members of a particular primary group. The answer was using the groups promotion system, and I'm confident you can use it for removing it as well. Just select all user groups (you may want to exclude admins/mods just in case) or the primary groups these members belong to, select members registered between x and y date. And in actions tick "Remove Secondary Group" and select which one. Save, and nothing will happen immediately but it will process soon after.
