Unread Content breadcrumb disappeared

I don't know how, but the 'Unread Content' breadcrumb which appears at the top of each page

 

has disappeared on my site

I tried switching to the default template, but it's the same. Anyone any ideas how to get it back again ?

Did you disable the 'Content Discovery' module via the ACP or modify its permissions so that your user groups couldn't use it?
