No download the update and they can view it if they are selected,

I originally forgot to add the feature and got confused with your other post, I edited it too late but if you download the new version admins and moderators can view them if blocked

• If IP Commerce is installed and paid files is active on the downloads this will now block them from purchasing their files as well

Hi there, recently downloaded and installed this. Is it normal for it to install 2 plugins and get an error with the one XML file?

What do you mean install 2 plugins? did you install it twice?

No, on the one install. I uninstalled the 2 listings it made on the plugins page, and attempted a reinstall. Now it's one plugin, but retained the same error.

I’m in shock to learn how poor the execution is on this plugin. Folks get this because they want privacy. I’m now being threatened with a lawsuit because I trusted this plugin 

One would assume that for blocked users that files in download area won’t even be visible for them. secure and hidden but NO.

ALL THIS DOES IS STOP THE ACTUAL DOWNLOAD BUTTON FROM WORKING

Blocked user can still 

- see the file in the store

- react to the file in the store

- can see all the screen shots

- can even BUY the file in the store

Example below where murky123 paid for and clicked download button 

best part is you made the “watch now” button for me that isn’t blocked at all???? So blocked user watched the file

im in a heap of trouble because I trusted this privacy protection tool. 

Please!!!!!! Help me get this fixed 

this currently is a terrible excuse for a downloads privacy blocking tool

I am sorry, I came in hot and I should have cooled down before posting.

It's just that there is a serious situation on my site where one member is making threats and stalking another. I gained her trust with these privacy options and they are failing left and right. She's making legal threats (which may or may not be valid) and it all has me very stressed!

I also see that the buy option has been fixed in a newer version (so at least that is some of the issue solved)

Allow me to start over.

Sir, excellent plugin please help me to address some over sights that are making this not function as desired.

I was going to say it was updated 5 days after release so that users can not buy the files if blocked

So what would you want? I can make you a plugin what will hook into the view file section and disallow them to view the file, it will still show the file in the featured block etc but if they click to view it, it will throw that error ( it is not something I will add to this plugin as it is basically just block from downloading but I could make you a 2nd one what will do what I said above... No charge of course as it will only take 5 minutes )

Yes, I would pay you for your efforts even if you don't ask for it.

Please help make something to supplement this "block downloads" plugin. Can it use the same account settings as already setup? Meaning users blocked in "block downloads" plug  in are ALSO blocked from view file? (with out the need to setup users/groups twice)

Gimme 10 minutes and check your PM, I will send you a version to UPDATE, this will be for you only and it will also hook into the view function so when clicked to view the page it will throw that error, remember it will still show in the featured / new blocks on the index page but when they click into it the error will show, they can't do nothing then with the file / screenshots / reactions / even the view video button I made you won't be accessable to them

I lost access to these important fixes now that I have to use 1.0.4 version. Can you help.

Also just so you know the bug where blocked users can buy files is BACK.. Please help!!
