Genestoy Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Is anybody able to make a plugin/hook/application that an admin can set the actual mb/kb of an image allowed during upload that they want other than just a display px size? If the image being uploaded is too large a message is displayed that the image size must be reduced. I used to have one for the 3 series board and would like one for my current 4.1.9 and also for the 4.2 boards. Thanks
jair101 Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 You can control that in your php settings. Even here on IPS you can see it displayed below the attachment link:
Genestoy Posted August 17, 2017 Author Posted August 17, 2017 Where do you set it in the ACP? Can't seem to find it

If you are on shared hosting, you need to ask your hosting provider to do it for you, usually they are happy reducing the limits, not increasing them If you are on vps or dedicated you are supposed to know how to do it.
