Preview Emails

I would like to customize many of the emails in AdminCP -> Customization -> Emails. Is it possible to preview what an email will look like or have the system send out a test email? This seems like a feature that would be built in. If not, is there any plugins out there that will do this? Also, it would be nice to be able to create an email template using WYSIWYG and shortcodes instead of having to create a HTML template and uploading it.

This is something that I feel is certainly lacking in the current system.

Currently you can only preview the wrapper, which is not ideal.
