New installation "session_no_good"

While trying to install IPS 4.1 I'm getting a "session_no_good" error

 

Nginx 1.10.2
PHP 7.1.6 (using php-fpm)

have necessary extensions installed, and nothing in my error logs

Edit: I think it may be my MariaDB version, upgrading to latest now

 

Did a google search for the error, but the only thing that came up was some warez site

Tracked down where this error was in the code, they're suppressing PHP errors coming from session_start so nothing was being logged. Ended up just being a permission issue and all is now well!
