Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Bernardo Rezende Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 In fluid view I would like to select a forum without it's subforums For example, we have a forum of games with subforums related with the some most played games... I don't want to see topics about most subforums Is there a way to configure this?

Then you can select any of the forums from the list and view only one. While clicking the Comunity Forums index you clicked will highlight all forums... That work?

Let me explain a little more: "ForumOFF" is a Category type of forum... the others are all Discussion Forums, but "Games & Tecnologia" have "CS:GO" and others as subforums... So, I can select the subforums individually: But then when I select the parent forum the subforums are all selected too and I cant deselect any of the subforums without automatically deselected the parent forum too. I didn't want to change the subforums as a forum without parent

I'm curious what the solution is as I want to enable fluid view for my members but many of them don't want to see the subforums, only the stuff within the parent.

ADKGamers Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 It would be nice if there was a way to hide those subforums from the sidebar on the right and just have the parent categories for people to choose from, instead of parent categories + sub.
Martin A. Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 This behavior was reported as a bug in the early 4.2 betas. The conclusion was (how crazy as it may sound) that this was how they wanted it to be.

Well I think it works great here on these forums, but for any large forums (in terms of sections) it would be nice to at least have an option within the ACP to show or not show a sub-category in the sidebar. So hopefully this is something that they can change.
