Collapsed forums in Fluid view?

Hi,

I have quite a few old forums that I keep as an administrative "archive", and I have the entire category collapsed.
However in the Fluid view, I see all the forums in a large expanded list, and apparently there is no way to change this / hide these forums / collapse them.
This takes up a lot of wasted space in the sidebar.

Is there a way to fix this?

I chime in, would be great to have a few options for the Fluid view widget of categories - incl how to hide the widget.

Yes, after using it for some time, I realized that actually being able to completely collapse/hide the entire widget - will be nice...
