Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Auday Elyafe Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Sorry for making a lot of topics. I just bought my license today (5GB one). I was wondering where do I find how much space I am using? Just so I know when to upgrade. My forum will be hosting a lot of downloads I don't want it to crash lol. ANSWERED. One more thing, is there anyway to limit the downloads section to specific members?
Joel R Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 5 GB is fairly generous for when you start. However, if you know you plan on hosting a lot of IP.Download files then you need to look into Amazon S3 storage which is integrated into your Community Suite.
Auday Elyafe Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 I will look into that, thanks. Do you have any clue about how to know how much out of 5GBs I am using?
Auday Elyafe Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 NVM, I found it in the client area. Sorry I thought it would be somewhere around the Admin CP.

Derpity Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 @Auday Elyafe go to AdminCP->System->Applications, and click the arrow on the left of the downloads application and it should show another section undernethe that says downloads, to the right of the 2nd 'Downloads' click the lock icon and it will allow you to set who has access to that module.
