AlexWright Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Greetings all, I am seeking out a developer to code a Blacklist by member-defined tags. In other words, users should be able to specify content that they do not wish to see while browsing the site. Our community deals with a lot of personal issues, and as such we do bring up a lot of sensitive subject areas for people. It would be great to have a way for users to define content they do not wish to see site-wide. What this would mean is that: 1. Members would have a box in their profile that they would be able to fill out which would generate an array of tags that they do not wish to see the content of. 2. For each taggable object (Gallery images, forum, and blog content), run that array through a filter, and filter any results which match this blacklist. We are OK if the easy way to do this is to just show fewer items per page (IE: If we have "Display 20 Items per page" and this filter removes 5, we are fine with displaying 15). We are looking to spend about $100 on this project. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yours most sincerely, LN. PS: Yes, we do have all IPS Apps, and this would need to work across all of those which allow for tagging. Thank you.
AlexWright Posted May 13, 2017 Author Posted May 13, 2017 Nevermind, we wound up creating this for the Gallery ourselves. If anyone wants this feature, please let me know.
