Canicus Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 The system sends a lot of information to the user, I would like this information to also be shown under Messages in the system for the user. Simply because e-mail messages can get lost, filtered or just never arrive. It would be great to be able to tell users to go to their messages to read what it was we sent to them, rather then having to trying to figure out what message was sent and find out that there are for the vast majority of e-mails in IPS no option to re-send them.
Management Charles Posted February 15, 2017 Management Posted February 15, 2017 If a user is finding they receive too many emails, they can choose to receive various notifications in their notification center in addition to or as a replacement for email. Click the bell icon next to your name and select notification settings. Also, under that bell icon, you will see a link to view all notifications where it keeps a list of everything for the user to review. You can also choose how to receive a notification when you Follow items. Finally, you as the admin can define default notification options for users when they sign up. You can also disable email as an option on some notification types.
