How Do I Change The Way Time Is Presented?

Currently, my forum will list how many hours back a post was made. I would rather it list the exact time that it was posted instead. Is there any way to change this? I am running on 4.1 currently.

 

TLDR: How to change from relative to absolute time listings on posts?

hi,

i found this post:

since for us it isn't enough to change the datetime presentation in the hover-presentation, i just changed marks plugin. since i am new to do things like that with IPB, i did that in a very primitive way; use that on your own risk. this replaces the relative time - code with the hover code presentation. you can use the preferences of the plugin to change the date-presentation. maybe i have to change the code again.
