Possible to move downloads files?

Hi am starting to offer downloads for sale. The content is rather large video files and it's quickly chewing through the space on my web server.

• Is there a way to MOVE just the downloads data files?  (separate from forum attachments)
• Can I move them after people are already using it? Can I move it back?
• Can I setup a NAS and have only the downloads load from the NAS

I don't care if the downloads file transfers are slow because it's rarely used compared to the rest of the site. Also I need to have the large storage capacity a NAS can provide.

Suggestions.. ideas?

ACP > System - Files > Storage Settings button > Configurations tab.  

Create a new file storage system for yourself using NAS.  Then apply it Download Files.
